Disaster Preparedness Guides

Welcome to the Disaster Preparedness Guides. These guides were created by The Preparedness Center to help you prepare for many types of disasterous conditions. We have a wide selection of guides for many survival situations. For specific guides and information explore the site. Knowledge is power and it could save your life or a love ones. Get prepared and be prepared!

First Understand, Disasters are going to happen!!

Each year devastating disasters ravage our nation, leaving behind countless victims. Pre-disaster planning can have a dramatic impact on minimizing the tragedy and suffering, resulting in a more efficient and coordinated (non panicked) response, and will save lives. Now is the time to prepare for these conditions. Do not wait until it is too late. And, do not be fooled into thinking that only other people are affected. Remember tornadoes, blizzards, floods, earthquakes, fires and biohazard material spills, can be due to a large number of different reasons, how well you plan, prepare and response to those situations will determine if you and your family will survive them.
